If you have been to a casino before you know everything it entails. Bright flashy lights and a rollercoaster of emotions are inescapable as you find yourself battling on the blackjack and roulette tables. This unforgettable experience describes week 1 of Monday Night Football in Las Vegas between the Baltimore Ravens and the Las Vegas Raiders. The $1.9 Billion dollar  Allegiant Stadium saw its first action with fans following the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions loosening.

The packed crowd of 65,000 was decked out in the iconic Raider black and silver. The Baltimore Ravens jumped on Vegas early taking a 14-0 lead in the second quarter, after Quarterback Lamar Jackson fired a laser to Marquise Brown after escaping the pocket. The play had the announcers in awe of Jackson's magic that helped win him the 2019 NFL MVP award. The momentum for Baltimore was short lived as Derek Carr and the Raiders responded with 10 straight points to close the half.

The second half was a back and forth affair as the Ravens took a 17-10 lead in the 3rd quarter. The 4th quarter was something out of a movie as Baltimore took two leads that were countered by Vegas scores, including a game tying 55-yard field goal by Daniel Carlson as time expired. Overtime saw Vegas work down the field after winning the coin toss. and get stopped at the half-yard line. Quarterback Derrick Carr who finished with over 400 yards passing, throws an interception at the goal line and Baltimore had hope. A few plays later, a depleted Ravens offensive line collapses and Lamar Jackson fumbled leading to an epic Raiders game-winning touchdown.

The Ravens will need to have a short memory as they welcome the explosive Chiefs to town in another prime time matchup. Baltimore with Lamar Jackson are 0-3 against Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, labeling Kansas City as "our kryptonite" in a press conference following the 2020 loss. Surely Baltimore will need a much better performance from their suspect offensive line if they have any shot in winning the game.
